Friday is a rest day locally and an ordinary trading day everywhere else, right up to the weekly close that arrives once Friday has already turned into Saturday. An iPad sits between the phone and a computer. It shows more than one instrument at a time on a larger display, and because positions, history and instrument lists come from the account rather than from the device, moving between iPhone, iPad and a computer costs nothing but a login.
The App Store keeps whichever app is installed current, so the build opened on a Friday afternoon behaves the same way as the one used at a desk earlier in the week. MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 publish their own iOS versions in the same place for traders who prefer that interface on mobile.
