A terminal and an account are separate things that are usually met together. The account holds the money, the type, the documents and the settings. The terminal is a program that connects to one account at a time, draws its prices and sends its orders. Everything the terminal can do is a consequence of that connection, and everything it cannot do belongs to the account rather than to the program.
This is why reinstalling changes nothing about the account, and why signing in from a second machine finds the same positions waiting. The program carries no state worth protecting; the account carries all of it.
What the window gives back in exchange
The trade for that narrow scope is immediacy. Because the terminal watches one account continuously, every operation performed elsewhere shows up here as a number that moves: a balance that rises, a held amount that is released, a new account that becomes selectable at the next login.
Reading the window that way turns the missing screens into a feature rather than a gap. The question is never whether the terminal can perform an account operation, but which number on the account line will confirm that the operation went through.
